Press release: Launch of new test and demonstration lab
World recognized brands for nanoimprint industry, NIL Technology ApS (NILT) and micro resist technology GmbH (MRT) launch new test and demonstration lab in partnership with leading Japanese university, Waseda University. The collaboration is managed by HTL Co. Japan Ltd. (HTL).
NILT and MRT are experienced representatives for the European nanoimprint industry with focus on stamps/masters, resists/polymers and related process techniques. NILT and MRT are delivering its complementary products to nanoimprint based industrial research at many companies worldwide.
With the new demonstration lab initiative at Waseda University, NILT and MRT is establishing a close collaboration with Dr. Jun Mizuno, where Shoji/Mizuno’s lab will become a beneficiary of the comprehensive technology portfolio at NILT and MRT. At the same time, Shoji/ Mizuno’s lab will serve as test and demonstration labs for commercial and academic clients of NILT and MRT. HTL is administrating the collaboration and will also be the main contact point for interested parties who wish to gain access to the demonstration lab.
Waseda University has installed a CNI v2.0 compact desktop nanoimprint tool dedicated to R&D purposes, and NILT and MRTs products can be used in a full R&D-setting solution. The demonstration lab can serve as a test place and for optimization work under guidance of nanoimprint experts providing a joint holistic process support.
